Consistent with both good service and excellent Japanese style food. We always get the Hibachi Chicken with egg rolls plus white sauce and have never been disappointed. Call in the order for pick up and you're on the way to a very nice evening meal.

Being new to the area, I started looking for different restaurants to eat at. I saw this place and decided to give them a try. I tried the chicken, scallop & shrimp dish, and I must say, it was on point!!! The staff was friendly, and usually, I'm in and out without calling ahead of time to preorder. So that's a plus. However, I did not know, or like that every time I've gone there, I've been asking for a little extra onions with my veggies, and never once was I ever told there's an additional charge for some extra onions. I've been getting takeout from them once a week for the last three (3) months. Instantly, when one of the cooks sees me come in, he asks me if I'm getting my usual!!! Last week I found out I was being charged the entire time for the extra onions. I only learned this when the young lady who took my order forgot to charge me for them. The manager called me to the register and said she always charged me for extra onions, but the young lady didn't include it in the total owed. Had they not already cooked them and put them in my food, I would've told them to forego the extra onions. However, I wound up paying an additional $2+ for extra onions. That was very disappointing because where I'm from (North), they don't charge us when we ask for a little extra onions. As a manager, I would've said, we won't charge you this time but know, moving forward, there's an additional charge. I will still order from them, but I refuse to pay $2+ for onions when a whole onion doesn't cost $2 in the grocery store.

Has remained awesome tasty, despite an outdated echoey dining room, for many years. You don't go there for a world class date night ambience. You go for the insanely tasty meat, rice and veggies, all consistently delicious since 1998 for me.

Always consistent! It's certainly not fine dining, but for a quick, tasty drive through meal, can't be beat.

Tokyo Express has been one of my favorite Japanese stir fry places to eat at for probably the last 15 years. They have several hibachi style options and I usually do the shrimp & steak and add a side of noodles. I decided to call and found out there were open today, holiday, & made my way on up here to get my regular. Honestly prices are competitive & you definitely get a quality portion. I'd say this place is more per serving than you would get at any of the big cook in front of you establishments. The price is next to 10$ cheaper as well which is what I love. I use to drive nearly 40 minutes in Los Angeles to find comparable stir fry and nothing ever came as close to Tokyo Express! Dining in or take out

I really wanted hibachi and my usual go to spot in Greensboro closes a bit early. I decided to make a trip to High Point! I love the fact that they have a drive through pick up, especially since it was quite cold! I ordered the hibachi shrimp and I like my shrimp well done. The vegetables that came with the dish was absolutely delicious and fresh, the shrimp was delicious too! I added noodles with the dish. I like the variety. The white sauce was good, I will remember to ask for more since it is lighter than other white sauces I have had. Overall this was a great experience, great value and good food.
